How to use the Jira integration on Summize

Jira Integration

With the Summize embeddable Legal Front Door in Jira, customers can seamlessly use the Create contract, Review contract or Ask Legal functionality directly in their existing Jira account, without having to switch applications.

This images below show how Summize works in Jira.

The embeddable Legal Front Door eliminates the backlog in project requests and speeds up the process using cleverly embedded workflows that automatically handle the majority of contract requests, without the need for legal intervention.

Using your approved Playbooks and clauses, business users can self-serve within the native Jira experience, saving time for legal and improving the experience for business teams, ultimately leading to faster contract signature and a more joined up contract lifecycle.

How the Summize Jira integration works:

With Summize, your operations, product or project teams can stay in Jira for contract tasks, making the process fast and easy for all stakeholders.

  • A business user clicks on either “Create”, “Review” or “Ask Legal” directly within Jira and follows the prompts to complete the process within Jira.
  • Clicking “Create” requests a new contract, “Review” requests a contract review from Legal and “Ask Legal” requests for non-contractual legal help or assistance.
  • The submitted request is automatically sent to Summize, where the Legal team manage intake and tasks.
  • The legal team approves or completes a first pass review and redline within Summize
  • Business users can see all information associated with the requested contract directly within Jira, including pending and completed tasks, conversations, summaries and more.
  • Once the task is approved, the contract is immediately sent back to the Jira dashboard where it is accessible within the customer account.
