Overview
To setup the Inbox, you need to configure a webhook with the relevant platform.
This webhook will create an automated ‘push’ of contracts from the original location, into the Summize Inbox.
The original location could include DocuSign, AdobeSign, OneFlow, or email.
There are two ways to use the inbox:
- For incoming signed contracts that require storage.
- For review requests where your organisation/users does not use the web app or another Legal Front Door (e.g. Teams or Slack).
Incoming signed contracts for Repository storage
- As your contracts flow into the Inbox, they will form a list. Only Power/Power Pro users will be able to access the Inbox, this prevents Collaborator/Requestor users obtaining access to confidential documents.

- Using the checklist on the left-hand side of your screen, you can select individual or multiple contracts, and then click ‘Move to Repository’.

- Once you click ‘Move to Repository’, you will be able to select where you want to store that specific contract in the repository. For example, which folder, subfolder, and contract type.

- The selected contract/s will then automatically move out of the Inbox, and into the Contract Repository for storage. You will receive a confirmation message at the bottom right-hand side of your screen.

- We suggest that one team member becomes responsible and accountable for checking the Inbox once per week e.g. every Friday morning, to check that all new contracts are stored correctly and can be accessed easily by the appropriate people.

You may also use the Inbox to handle review requests where your organisation/users do not use the web app or a Legal Front Door, such as Teams or Slack.

- Using the checklist on the left-hand side of your screen, you can select individual or multiple contracts, and then click ‘Move to Requests’.

- Once you click ‘Move to Requests’, you will be able to select the contract type (if applicable). Summize will then generate the applicable Review question-set, built by your super-users in implementation. If you skip this step, a recommended review will be generated for you.
