How to submit Review Requests

Instructions on how to submit a Review request via the Web App, Teams or Slack

Overview

Once you have setup and enabled a Review template you and your business users can start submitting Review requests.

Submitting a new Review request can be done from a number of starting points:

  • From the Summize web application.
  • From Microsoft Teams via the Summize Assistant Bot
  • From Slack via the the Summize Assistant Bot

 

Submit from the Web App

To submit a new Review request from the Summize web application, follow these simple steps:

  1. Sign into Summize.
  2. Navigate to Requests.
  3. Click the ‘New request’ button located in the page header (top-right).
  4. A menu with some options will appear.
  5. Click the ‘Review’ option.
  6. A panel with some options will appear.
  7. Enter a friendly name for the request in the first field called ‘Request Name’.
    Note: The name you enter here will become part of the Request ID, we recommend something memorable to help you find this request in the future.
    Note: This field is mandatory and must have a value in order to submit a request.
  8. Select a template from the second option called ‘Select a template’.
  9. The intake questions for the template you selected will appear below.
  10. Enter your answer for each of the questions.
  11. Click the ‘Continue’ button located in the panel footer (bottom-left).
  12. The panel will update to the next second stage of submitting a Review request where you can add your master file, and any linked documents or attachments.
  13. Click the ‘+ Add file’ button under the ‘Master contract’ section to add your master file.
    Note: The file must be either .docx or .pdf format.
  14. Click the ‘+ Add file’ button under the ‘Linked documents’ or ‘Attachments’ sections to add any linked documents or attachments relevant to your request.
  15. Click the ‘Submit request’ button located in the panel footer (bottom-left) to complete the action.
  16. Your request will be submitted and you will be taken to the Request View for your new request.

Submit from Microsoft Teams

To submit a new Review request from Microsoft Teams using the Summize Assistant Bot, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to Microsoft Teams.
  2. Go the Summize Assistant Bot and login.
  3. Select the Review button, or type ‘review’ as a new message and press enter or click send.
  4. A new message card will appear asking if you would like to begin a new request or if you need to submit as part of an existing request.
  5. Click ‘New’ to continue.
  6. You will then be asked to send you master contract.
  7. Attach and send your master contract to the chat.
    Note: This must be a single file in either .docx or .pdf format.
  8. You will then be asked if you would like to add any linked contracts.
  9. Click ‘Yes’ if you want to add any linked contracts such as SOWs or other contractual documents, then attach and send these to the chat. Or click ‘No’ to skip this step.
  10. You will then be asked if you want to add any attachments.
  11. Click ‘Yes’ if you want to add any attachments such as images, emails or other supporting files that are relevant to your request, then attach and send these to the chat. Or click no to skip this step.
Note: Attachments can be any format and each file must not exceed 10 MB.
  12. You will then be asked what type of contract your request is for.
  13. Select an option from the list of available templates then click ‘Confirm’.
  14. If the template you selected has any initial guidance notes configured, these will appear as the next message. Click ‘Continue’ once you have read and acknowledged the message.
  15. You will then be asked a series of questions by the Summize Assistant Bot through a chat experience.
  16. Type and send your answer for each question you are asked.
  17. When you have answered all questions, you will be asked to confirm if your answers are correct.
  18. Click ‘Yes’ if you are happy with the answers you provided and want to continue - or click ‘No’ if you need to amend any of your answers.
  19. After clicking ‘Yes’ you will be asked to enter a friendly name for your request.
  20. Type a friendly name for the request as a new message and press enter or click send.
    Note: The name you enter here will become part of the Request ID, we recommend something memorable to help you find this request in the future.
  21. Please wait while the Summize Assistant Bot submits your new request.
  22. Once submitted you will see a new message appear with details of your new Review request including a link to view the request in Summize.

Submit from Slack

To submit a new Review request from Microsoft Teams using the Summize Assistant Bot, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to Slack.
  2. Go the Summize Assistant Bot and login.
  3. Select the Review button, or type ‘review’ as a new message and press enter or click send.
