Change the contract owner
How to change the contract owner in the repository
Each signed contract you add to the Repository can have a nominated owner assigned to it. By default each contract added does not have an owner assigned, but you can change this at any time.
To change the contract owner, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Repository Table.
- Locate the contract you want to change the owner for in the table and click to go to the contract view.
- Navigate to the ‘Contract Information’ section of the tool panel.
Click the ‘Owner’ dropdown at the top of the section. - A list of users will appear.
- Click on a user to assign them as the owner, or click the ‘Unassign’ button at the bottom of the list to remove the owner.
- The owner will be changed.

You may also change the owner of multiple contracts at once.
To change the contract owner of more than one contract, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Repository Table.
- Filter the table to show the contracts that you want to change owners on and click the checkbox at once or click one by one for specific contracts.
- Then click the Owner button that appears at the top right hand of the page
- Select the new owner from the available options.
- The new owner will be applied.
