How to add, download, and delete contract attachments

Overview

The Attachments feature lets you store non-contractual files such as images, screenshots, emails, internal documents or other associated files alongside a signed contract in the Repository.

 

Add an attachment

To add an attachment, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the Repository Table.
  2. Locate the contract you want to add an attachment to, and click it go to the Contract View.
  3. Navigate to the ‘Attachments’ section in the tool panel.
  4. Click the “+ Add attachment’ button in the top-right of the panel.
  5. Your operating system’s file browser will open.
  6. Select the file or files you want to add from your file browser and click ‘Open’.

    Note: Attachments supports all file types but there is a maximum file size limit of 10 MB per file.
  7. Your files will be added and listed in the attachments panel section.

Download an attachment

To download an attachment, follow these simple steps:

  1. From the Contract View, navigate to the ‘Attachments’ section in the tool panel.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon to the right of the attachment you want to download.
  3. A menu with some options will appear.
  4. Click the ‘Download’ option.
  5. The attachment will automatically download to your device.

Delete an attachment

To delete an attachment, follow these simple steps:

  1. From the Contract View, navigate to the ‘Attachments’ section in the tool panel.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon to the right of the attachment you want to download.
  3. A menu with some options will appear.
  4. Click the ‘Delete’ option.
  5. A confirmation modal will appear.
  6. Click the ‘Delete’ button to confirm the action.
  7. The attachment will be deleted.

    Note: Deleting an attachment is permanent and cannot be undone.
