Overview
The Attachments feature lets you store files such as images, screenshots, emails, internal documents or other associated files alongside your Ask Legal requests.
Add an attachment
To add an attachment, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Requests Table.
- Locate the Ask Legal request you want to add an attachment to, and click it go to the Request View.
- Click the “+ Add attachment’ button in the top-right of the Attachments section of the UI positioned to the right of the tool panel.
- Your operating system’s file browser will open.
- Select the file or files you want to add from your file browser and click ‘Open’.
Note: Attachments supports all file types but there is a maximum file size limit of 10 MB per file. - Your files will be added and listed in the attachments section.

Download an attachment
To download an attachment, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Requests Table.
- Locate the Ask Legal request you want to add an attachment to, and click it go to the Request View.
- Click the “+ Add attachment’ button in the top-right of the Attachments section of the UI positioned to the right of the tool panel.
- Click the ellipsis icon to the right of the attachment you want to download.
- A menu with some options will appear.
- Click the ‘Download’ option.
- The attachment will automatically download to your device.

Delete an attachment
To delete an attachment, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Requests Table.
- Locate the Ask Legal request you want to add an attachment to, and click it go to the Request View.
- Click the ellipsis icon to the right of the attachment you want to download.
- A menu with some options will appear.
- Click the ‘Delete’ option.
- A confirmation modal will appear.
- Click the ‘Delete’ button to confirm the action.
- The attachment will be deleted.
Note: Deleting an attachment is permanent and cannot be undone.
