How to change the status of an Ask Legal request

Overview

Ask Legal requests have two possible statuses; Open or Completed.

The status of an Ask Legal request can help you to track and triage your requests by indicating which requests have work remaining (Open) and which do not (Completed).

By default when a new request is submitted, the status will be automatically set to ‘Open’ but you can manually change the status to ‘Completed’ at any time.

 

Change the status of an Ask Legal request

To change the status of an Ask Legal request, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to Requests.
  2. Locate the Ask Legal request you want to change the status for, and click it go to the Request View.
  3. Click the status indicator located in the page header (top-right).
  4. A menu with the status options will open.
  5. Select a new status for your request to complete the action.
  6. The new status will be applied.
