How to add contracts to the repository
Before adding contracts to the Repository it is important to note that each contract you add must belong to a sub-folder and must have an associated contract type.
Ensure you have already created the correct sub-folder and Contract type before you begin, then follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Repository Table view.
- Click the ‘+ Add Contract’ button located in the top-right of the UI to launch the modal.
- From the first dropdown option called ‘Folder’ select the sub-folder the contract should belong to. (Note: you cannot add contracts to multiple sub-folders simultaneously.)
- From the second dropdown option called ‘Contract type’ select the type of contract to associate these contracts with. (Note: You cannot add contracts of different types simultaneously.)
- Click ‘Next’ to continue.
- Drag and drop the contracts you want to add onto the screen or click ‘Add Contract’ to open your operating system’s file browser to select the contracts.
- Wait for your files to finish loading.
- If you want to add linked contracts for any of the Master contracts such as SOW’s or Variations please continue with the following steps, otherwise skip to step 14 below.
- To add linked contract for any of your master contracts click ‘Upload them now’.
- Drag and drop your linked contracts onto the screen or click ‘Add Contract’ to open your operating system’s file browser to select the linked contract files.
- Wait for your files to finish loading.
- Then for each linked contract select the master file it belongs to and select the type of linked contract it is. (Note: You can change this later.)
- When you are finished click ‘Done’.
- Click ‘Finish’ to begin uploading your contracts to the Repository.
- The modal will close and you will see a toast message appear in the bottom-right of the UI to indicate the contracts have been uploaded.
- Refresh the page and you will see a new button to the right above the table that indicates the contracts are processing.
Once your contracts have finished processing they will then appear in the Repository table and will contribute to the Repository Dashboard metrics.
